This full-length drama tells the story of a small Missouri town's struggle during the early days of the Oregon Trail. Will Becket has his heart set on Oregon Territory, but his sister, Jenny, is hesitant. When obstacles are finally overcome, it seems his dream has come true. But disaster strikes, decisions must be made, and trusting the Lord becomes essential. Interesting characters, including hard-of-hearing Pa Spencer, bitter Sarah Smith, and "Jumpin' Jiggers" Jeb, the wagon train master, keep the drama from becoming too heavy.  A fun musical that can be done with just a few skilled soloists and a group of average vocalists.  Extras may be  added to the opening and store scenes.
